We've owned three vintage Airstreams so far. I guess it took three tries to get it right. Although we saw promise in our first two Airstreams, Mavis and Percy, it wasn't until we found our 1961 Bambi, Stella, that we knew we had a real gem. We love Stella and have had many great times with her. However, in the Spring of 2008, we decided to expand our family through adoption. Now that we have two girls, we need more space! That's how we came to find Arthur, our 1955 Flying Cloud. Arthur is quite a project, but we're up for it. We will continue to camp in the Bambi while we completely renovate the Flying Cloud.
